Mr. Tom "Strong Buffalo" Varnado

Pre-k through 2nd grade students welcomed Mr. Tom "Strong Buffalo" Varnado, a native American educator who travels to various area schools to educate children on Native American life during the early 1800's. He provides the students with an interactive experience where they get to grind corn and see how a woodendrill with an arrow head point works. He demonstrates the proper use of a blow gun and they got toplay with toys made from feathers, sticks, and bones. Thank you to Mrs. Copponex for bringing Mr. Tom "Strong Buffalo" Varnado To Bernard Terrace.
